Dietitian

Empowering Health, Nourishing Life

Kelly Yu

I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian and a proud member of Dietitians Australia, with a specialised focus on gestational diabetes. I completed my Masters of Nutrition & Dietetics at the University of Sydney.

My mission is to assist individuals in improving their health, well-being, and self-efficacy through the integration of evidence-based dietetic knowledge and skills in medical nutrition therapy. I have a profound passion for exploring diverse cooking techniques and recipes, and I love sharing these culinary insights with my clients.

I believe that healthy and nutritious eating should be a joyful experience. My goal is to encourage people to connect with food and understand its vital role in disease prevention, particularly in managing conditions such as gestational diabetes.

I provide clinical input to the wider team to support holistic care through comprehensive clinical review processes. My services include nutrition assessment, dietary advice, intervention, and monitoring for patients of all ages, specializing in various medical nutrition areas, including weight management, type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, hypertension, PCOS, thyroid issues, IBS, IBD, celiac disease, pediatric nutrition, and especially gestational diabetes.

I work alternate Fridays in the clinic and also offer teleconsults. Additionally, I speak Cantonese and Mandarin, allowing me to connect with a broader range of clients.

My fees are as follows:

  • $80.35 for initial consultations (Medicare patients with EPC pay $20 extra).
  • $60.35 for follow-up consultations (Medicare patients with EPC will be bulk-billed).
  • A proportion of the fees can be redeemed from health insurance on the spot if your private health fund covers dietetics service.
